This workshop is designed for teachers who have an interest in using Geographic Information Systems in their classrooms, but have not had time to develop their own lessons or tutor themselves. During the workshop, taught by CIPE and ESRI instructors, you will receive an introduction to ArcView and how to get started with GIS in your classroom. You will also receive lessons developed by CIPE that can be used to teach your students both GIS and science and geography concepts. Participants will receive a coupon for $100 off the purchase price of any ESRI software.
