Meaningful technology for the classroom
Are you looking for meaningful ways to use technology in your science, mathematics and technology classes? Do you find that most educational software is more entertainment than education? Image processing offers a uniquely powerful tool for teaching science, mathematics and technology.
CIPE offers professional development workshops on using image processing to teach and integrate science, mathematics, engineering, and technology concepts. Image processing workshops can be scheduled for any time of the year, involving eight to eighteen particpants in three-, four-, or five-day options, for either Macintosh® or Windows® 95 platforms. All workshops are taught by certified image processing instructors and are
suitable for teachers from elementary levels to community and four-year
colleges. The minimum number of participants needed to schedule an on-site
workshop is eight.
CIPE can come to your school or district to present a workshop on using this technology. We'll empower you to use image processing with your students, develop research projects, use resources from the Internet, and enhance your overall use of technology.
Workshops can be scheduled for any time of the year, for eight to twenty-four educators. The workshop curriculum will be customized to meet the needs of teachers and students in your community.
